Meteocare

is a sensor-based protection for solar trackers — resilient in wind, snow, hail, and flood conditions.

Smart protection for unpredictable conditions

MeteoCare™ is PVH’s complete portfolio of sensor-based solutions for site protection. Designed to detect and respond to environmental risks in real time, MeteoCare extends the lifetime of your trackers and maximizes plant availability — from construction to operation.

Deployable at commissioning or retrofitted on existing plants

Customizable per site topology and risk profile

Integrated with TotalStow™ for ultra-fast reaction

windsense - wind storm protection for pv plants

Windsense

Basic protection against the first enemy of Solar Plants, included by default as essential protection.

Our Comms together with TotalStow allows for an incredibly fast reaction to Stow, securing the assets in very few time. More time to Track!

This algorithm maximizes production time (and reduces time spent in a defensive position) by predicting short-term wind behavior. It enables the advanced prediction of wind behavior to maximize time in production.

Snowsense

Protects from the snow load in harsh environments, such as northern winters. Two behaviors depending on the snow load aggressivity to perfectly match exact conditions.

Adapting tracker behavior to snow conditions reduces the load, the steel, needed into trackers without compromising integrety.

Hailsense

PVH has developed startegic alliances regionally to obtain the most accurate predictive Hail system, allowing trackers to be effectively protected prior to Hail impacts Starts.

Combined with ProInsights Cloud offers a forecasting tool to check hail windows.

Hail prediction leverages the reliable, advanced meteorological forecasting capabilities provided, incorporating real-time weather data analysis and predictive algorithms to monitor atmospheric conditions surrounding the PV plant.

Floodsense

PVH System is able to create virtual groups with different level of flooding, cuting the max angle to keep the gap from module to ground (water).

Flooding may provoke costly damages by damaging modules and even inverters if submerged. Avoid this Maintenance and Reparation costs on your assets!

Frequent questions and answers

Yes! Even they can be in different Blocks.
Depends mostly in size of Site, and its distribution and orography, but this is studied into Detailed Engineering of projects.
Yes, PVH can install them on Construction or on most of its old Sites (conditions apply, may require works as updates).
