PVH Tbox

At PVH, innovation and constant Research & Development are fundamental pillars of our business philosophy. We are committed to leading the way in the field of solar energy, continuously looking for new ways to improve the performance of solar plants and optimize the end-user experience. Our main goal is to drive efficiency and sustainability in the energy sector by offering innovative solutions that not only meet today’s needs, but also anticipate and address future challenges. In this regard, we are proud to introduce some of our latest technologies designed to provide accurate control and monitoring, as well as more intuitive and efficient operation of solar plants: ProInsights, TBox and DBox5. These products will take any solar project a step further in efficiency and performance.

ProInsights – Total Plant Control

In order to support the O&M strategy for the solar PV plant, PVH has designed ProInsights SCADA, a SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) for remote monitoring, control, analysis and maintenance of any solar tracking system. Specifically designed for plant operators and managers, it offers real-time operational visibility of the tracking system as a top priority, making system maintenance easier, more efficient and more reliable. With an intuitive web application, ProInsights provides live information from the plant’s devices so that the user can better operate the plant. After PV plant commissioning, operation and maintenance of the solar tracking system over time is key to maximizing system performance and minimizing potential operating costs.

TBox – Fully Connected Weather Station

TBOX is PVH’s central plant control station. It integrates a weather station with wind and other weather sensors. It communicates with the trackers via LoRa (long range) wireless networks. TBOX provides secure long-range transmission between the central plant controller and each of the controllers in charge of moving the trackers. When one of the weather sensors detects a strong wind gust, it sends a signal to the central plant controller, which in turn distributes that message to all the different solar tracker controllers at once so that they move to a defensive position as quickly as possible.

DBox5 – Next-generation tracker control

DBox5 is the ultimate tracker control device that redefines efficiency. It is a superior communication system equipped with state-of-the-art technology and innovative design. DBOX5 joins the functionalities of the latest generation of network control units and field adaptive trackers to create a complete and completely revamped plant control system. With a robust and complete design, it is built to last. It is better connected than previous models, featuring the latest generation of LoRa radio transceivers, which provide greater connectivity range in solar plants of any size. It is more agile, with a revamped and simplified interface with fewer connectors, as well as a quick, convenient and easy-to-install mounting system that saves time and effort. It is also more secure, being a self-contained product with an innovative hardware-based security system that ensures that only authorized software runs. PVH manufactures the DBOX5 and ships it already assembled, reducing its carbon footprint by 18%.

These technologies will offer more efficient and sustainable energy solutions. A bright future is within our reach. At PVH, we are committed to leading the way to cleaner, more sustainable energy.
