PVH: Innovation and Sustainability at Intersolar Munich 2024

28/06/2024

A Global Presence and Efficient Production Strategies

With more than 500 projects on five continents totaling more than 29GW, PVH has established itself as a leader in the global solar energy market. Our factories, strategically located in Europe, Saudi Arabia and the United States, allow us to maintain an annual production capacity of close to 30GW. This ensures a constant supply and mitigates logistical risks in the global solar energy market. The recent opening of a manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas, complements our existing plants in Spain and Saudi Arabia, strengthening our responsiveness and efficiency in the global supply chain. This expansion not only strengthens our presence in the U.S. market, but also improves logistics and reduces delivery times for projects around the world.

AxoneDuo Infinity: Solar Tracking Innovation

Our latest advacement, AxoneDuo Infinity, is designed to improve adaptability to any terrain. With the lowest number of motors and controllers per chain on the market, it offers multiple configurations to adapt to any installation: linked or unlinked, with 1, 2, 3 or 4 chains per row. This flexibility minimizes on-site labor hours. Thanks to PVH’s pre-assembly service, some parts arrive pre-assembled from the factory, saving up to 44% of labor hours in the field. AxoneDuo Infinity benefits greatly from our efficient production and distribution strategies. Its ability to adapt to any configuration and terrain, together with the pre-assembly service, aligns perfectly with our philosophy of offering advanced and high quality solutions in the shortest possible time. Thus, we ensure that our projects are not only technologically superior, but also logistically optimized, allowing a fast and effective implementation anywhere in the world.

Proactive Innovation and Strategic Partnerships

We continue to innovate with a proactive strategy that anticipates and addresses current challenges in the solar sector. Our strategic partnerships with leading freight forwarders and shipping companies ensure optimal routing and competitive rates for our customers. In addition, pre-assembly in all our factories reduces working hours by up to 40%, thus optimizing production and assembly processes.

Miguel Angel Escribano, our Sales Director, noted during the fair: “We are pleased to present our leading solar energy solutions throughout Europe and to demonstrate how they can contribute to our customers’ upcoming projects. We invite all visitors to learn more about our innovations at our booth, as well as explore how we can collaborate to achieve their renewable energy goals.”

Revolutionizing Agriculture with Agrovoltaic Installations

One of the highlights of our presence at Intersolar Munich was the presentation of our advances in agrovoltaic installations. The integration of solar technology with agricultural activities is revolutionizing the industry, and PVH is at the forefront of this transformation. As we are manufacturers of our own structures, we can adapt the size and conditions to the requirements of each project. A notable example is the Winesolar project, the first smart agrovoltaic plant in Spain, equipped with a PVH tracker. This project demonstrates how we elevate solar modules to facilitate access to crops, maximize sunlight and allow the use of agricultural machinery.

PVH Shines at Intersolar Munich

We were present at the recent edition of Intersolar Munich, held from June 19 to 21, presenting the most innovative advances in solar structures and trackers. Recognized as the world’s third largest supplier in this field, PVH continues to lead with an unwavering focus on innovation and sustainability.
