PVH obtains the UNE certification for its R&D&i management
15/07/2022
The international certification company EQA has recognized PV Hardware’s compliance of its Research, Development and Technological Innovation (R&D&i) Management System with the standards contemplated in the UNE166002 standard.
This recognition comes after several months of hard work and following an audit carried out in the end of March 2022 at the company’s centers in Cheste (Valencia) and Madrid. The certificate contains requirements and practical guidelines for the formulation and development of R&D&I policies, as well as for the establishment of objectives in line with the company’s specific activities, products and services.
Antonio de Dios Pardo, head of R&D&I at PVH, points out that “the awarding of this standard, which is growing in international recognition, highlights the importance that PVH gives to the research and development of its products as a way of adapting them to meet the needs of our customers”.
Constant research
The customer experience is becoming increasingly important in PVH’s R&D&I line. Through DeepTrack, its electronic design and software department, the company is incorporating the latest technology in artificial intelligence, Iot and machine learning into its trackers and control systems. This is how they created, for example, ProInsights, a tracker control system that offers all the possibilities of control and monitoring of a solar plant with an intuitive user interface and the strictest security measures.
PVHardware has always been committed to innovation and research as a philosophy of its activity to maximize the efficiency of photovoltaic plants. PVH designs, develops and manufactures its products with the latest technological advances according to the needs of each project. In addition, with its own manufacturing capacity in Europe and Saudi Arabia, it mitigates the risks for its customers in logistics, supply and price variation.
Since its foundation in 2011 within Gransolar group, PVHardware has become the largest European supplier of solar trackers with a global market share of 9%, and more than 20GW supplied in some 300 installations worldwide. This careful way of working has allowed the company to receive certification in the UNE 166002 standard, which is internationally compatible with ISO 56002:2019.
