PVH will supply 65 MW in Argentina.
PVH will supply 65 MW of our Axone Duo double row solar tracker in two projects located in the Cordoba province of Argentina, following agreements reached with Grupo Neuss and PowerChina LTD Argentina. In this way, we are consolidating our activity in one of the most promising regions for the photovoltaic industry on the American continent, where we have local headquarters.
The locations in Cura Brochero and Villa María de Río Seco, respectively, make them two facilities with high production potential. In this regard, the photovoltaic plants will have a total of 180,826 photovoltaic modules spread over 124 hectares, whose production will prevent the total and approximate emission of 89,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere annually, which is equivalent to the consumption generated by around 19,200 vehicles.
“With the signing of these two new contracts, we are taking a big step forward that will certainly help us to increase our activity and our competitiveness in the Argentinean market and in neighbouring countries”, say Gustavo Pintelos and Augusto Bernasconi, our PVH Business Development managers in Argentina. They also highlighted the work being carried out by PVH to “exceed our expectations in 2021 and the years to come. The future of the photovoltaic industry in Argentina is promising and we want to be a reliable partner for all kind of customers. We are working to achieve this goal”.
Emilio García, our COO of the company, explained that “the Argentinean market is key to PVH’s development and supply objectives in the American continent”. In addition, he adds, “the fact that we have local headquarters and high-level professionals in the country facilitates relations with our potential customers in terms of closeness, speed and efficiency in communications”.
Currently, PVH has a network of local suppliers, as well as logistics and consultancy teams, which allows us to meet the requirements set by the Declared National Content standard, required in many projects.
