PVH to Dominate the Solar Tracker Market with 95% Market Share in Türkiye

28/06/2024

In the dynamic and rapidly evolving energy industry, PV Hardware (PVH) stands out as a beacon of innovation and excellence. Our enduring partnership with Inogen has solidified our position as pioneers in the solar energy sector, achieving an impressive 95% market share in the national tracker market. This milestone is a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability.

A Journey of Milestones and Achievements

PVH’s Türkiye journey began in 2008 with the installation of our first tracker system at the Gebze Institute of Technology. This early project set the stage for a series of groundbreaking developments and symbol projects that have propelled us to the forefront of the industry. Our strong collaboration between academia and industry in Turkey through our partner has been pivotal in this success, allowing us to leverage our combined expertise to deliver cutting-edge solutions for both national and international projects.

Recently, with the signing of our last 157 MW project, PVH has emerged as the holder of a commanding 95% tracker market share in Turkey. This achievement underscores the superiority of our latest innovation, the AxoneDuo Infinity Tracker, in the region. It also enhances our extensive portfolio, which now exceeds 28 GW of solar power supplied worldwide.

Key Projects and Achievements

Karapınar Solar Power Plant:
Europe’s largest solar power plant, Karapınar, stands as a monumental achievement in our portfolio. This project underscores our capability to handle large-scale projects and deliver outstanding results. The plant has been commissioned by blocks, allowing it to begin generating power as soon as possible. PVH trackers and meteo stations are equipped with a self-powering option, allowing them to operate independently without the need for plant energization, a fiber ring, or auxiliary power. This capability not only facilitates early power generation but also ensures response to wind events, enhancing overall plant efficiency and safety. In extreme conditions of high snow loads and freezing temperatures, using frameless modules, the 1.35 GW plant stands strong, displaying reliability and strength.

Uşak Banaz Hybrid Power Plant:
As Europe’s largest solar-wind hybrid power plant, Uşak Banaz exemplifies our innovative approach to renewable energy. This project integrates solar and wind power, displaying our versatility and commitment to sustainable energy solutions. It not only highlights high adaptability to terrain but also reliability in locations with high wind conditions, such as a wind energy plant.

Kangal Hybrid Power Plant:
The Kangal Hybrid Power Plant stands as one of the country’s earliest large-scale hybrid projects, showcasing innovation in energy generation. Despite facing extreme conditions, including heavy snowfall and strong winds, the plant excels in performance. Equipped with specially designed trackers to meet these challenging demands, the Kangal Hybrid Power Plant demonstrates unparalleled efficiency and resilience.

Niğde YEKA Projects:
The Niğde YEKA projects (three 130 MWp projects) highlight our strategic involvement in Türkiye’s renewable energy initiatives. Our advanced tracker systems play a crucial role in maximizing the efficiency and output of these large-scale projects.

Çesme Murat GES:
Known for being the first bifacial panel and tracker power plant, Çesme Murat GES demonstrates our leadership in adopting and implementing cutting-edge technologies in the renewable energy sector.

Hatay Erzin YEKA Projects:
Another significant project, the Hatay Erzin YEKA projects (two 140 MWp projects), further cements our dominance in the tracker market, contributing to Türkiye’s national renewable energy goals.

Commitment to Highest Local Content Operations and Innovation

At PVH, we take pride in supporting domestic production and fostering innovation within the industry. Our competencies and technological advancements enable us to add significant value to investments in renewable energy projects. By focusing on domestic production, we contribute to local economies and promote sustainable development.

Viranşehir YEKA Projects:
Countries 2nd largest SPP installation area will have 510 MW of PVH trackers continuing the successful track record of PVH.

Looking Forward: A Bright Future

As we celebrate surpassing the 3 GW threshold in Türkiye, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the renewable energy sector. Our market dominance is not just a reflection of past successes but a promise of future achievements. With a 95% market share, PVH is poised to continue leading the way in solar tracker technology, driving the global transition to renewable energy.

Expanding Global Footprint

The PVH-Inogen partnership is a powerful force in the renewable energy industry. Our 95% market share in the national tracker market is a testament to our relentless pursuit of excellence and innovation. From our pioneering projects to our commitment to domestic production, PVH is dedicated to creating a sustainable future. This strong partnership, firmly established in Türkiye, is now expanding to other regions, ensuring the same prominent level of support and service. As we continue to grow and expand our footprint, we look forward to setting new standards and achieving even greater milestones in the years to come.

Strategic Collaborations and Client Trust

GE’s trust in this partnership has played a crucial role in the region’s expansion. With the synergies and strong understanding between the three companies, the proposals were optimized and tailored to provide unparalleled solutions to clients. This unique combination made the offering highly attractive to end clients, who entrusted the project to GE’s capable hands, resulting in over 2 GWp of capacity in the region.

By focusing on our strategic achievements and commitment to innovation, this blog article aims to highlight PVH’s significant market presence and ongoing contributions to the renewable energy sector.
