DBox5, PVH’s tracker control device, has been honored in recent weeks with the most prestigious design awards: European Design Awards, the iF Award and the Red Dot Design Award. To obtain such recognition from three renowned design institutions for one single product is an extraordinary milestone that demonstrates and enhances the exceptional dedication and ingenuity of PVH’s Electronics and Control Department. This success is due to an elaborate product development process featuring the design department, which tirelessly fosters innovation and explores the boundaries of design.

At the heart of DBox5’s success lies a meticulous fusion of form and function, carefully crafted by our designers. The user stands at the center of the design. The device not only captivates aesthetically, but also fosters extraordinary seamless interaction, providing an unprecedented user experience.

Success in design and functionality

According to Arturo Menor, head of the Product Design team at PVH: “We have managed to create a more robust controller, while highlighting its technological aspect so that the end user perceives it as an innovative product that stands out from other controllers. We believe our design reflects the spirit of our brand and puts us at the forefront of the market as it offers a reliable and compact system, visually appealing, and a unique user experience.”

DBox5 embodies PVH’s unwavering commitment to sustainability. In its overall design, the principles of sustainable design and environmental responsibility were followed. “We would also like to thank and congratulate Lúcid for joining us in the envelope design sharing our concern for the environmental impact of the industrial sector” says Arturo Menor. Through rigorous optimization efforts, the product department has managed to reduce the product’s carbon footprint by 18%.
