PVH Carbon footprint sustainability

PVH has obtained the certificate of registration in the Registry of Carbon Footprint, compensation and carbon dioxide absorption projects, registry and property of the current Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge.

We have successfully registered the following data in the carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emission reduction commitments section:

  • Calculation year 2020.
  • Scopes 1 + 2.
  • The limits of the organisation included in the calculation are the activities of software design (Scada and maintenance programs), and design and manufacture of hardware (support structures and trackers) for renewable energy generation plants developed at its four sites, two in Cheste (Valencia), Alcobendas (Madrid) and Almeria.

It should be noted that the carbon footprint is considered the best indicator of a company’s degree of eco-efficiency, which is a mechanism for internal and external promotion of sustainability for PVH and, at the same time, distinguishes us among the organisations that calculate their carbon footprint in search of reducing their emissions.

This seal reflects the level of effort undertaken by PVH in the fight against climate change, as well as our firm and continuous commitment to the environment and sustainable development.
