PVH keeps its main logistics and manufacturing center in Valencia, and as one of the largest exporting companies in this Mediterranean Community, it understands that a close relationship with local governments and institutions is essential for the growth and development of its activity. In this context, the CRO of PVH, Carlos López, had the opportunity to share a meeting in the Palau de la Generalitat with the president Carlos Mazón in which he explained the company’s growth forecasts for 2024.

PVH, an engine of economic growth for Valencian industry

PVH is currently an engine of economic growth for the Valencian industry. Between factory and office space, the company occupies more than 43,000 m2 in six different locations in the Castilla industrial park in Cheste, where it has a workforce of more than 700 employees.

The meeting was also attended by the Councilor for the Environment, Water, Infrastructures and Territory, Salomé Pradas, and Miguel Ángel Ivorra Devesa, Director General of Urban Planning, Landscape and Environmental Assessment on behalf of the regional government, as well as Iván Higueras, CEO, and Luis Marquina, Director of Institutional Relations of Gransolar Group. Carlos López shared with President Mazón PVH’s role as an economic driver of the renewables industry in Valencia.

“Our role as one of the world’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of solar trackers and structures puts our Valencia plant on the map of global renewable energy development,” says Carlos López. “From here we supply large solar projects on five continents, and we are convinced that significant investment in development at our facilities will be necessary to meet the business growth forecast for 2024.”

Forecast of growth and expansion in Valencia

PVH has experienced significant growth in 2023, and by 2024 it expects to exceed one billion euros, and one thousand employees globally. With such business growth forecast, the company’s needs of space and logistics are increasing and there is already a project to create a large operations center in Cheste that will bring together all processes in one place, and so greatly facilitate logistics and development.

PVH is the world’s third largest solar tracker manufacturer, with a turnover of close to one billion euros and more than 28GW supplied to large solar plants around the world. The company already has two other manufacturing facilities in the Middle East and the United States with which it could reach a total capacity of more than 30GW/year.
